This Privacy Policy explains what information the mobile game "Potter Quiz: Wizard Trivia" (Android package com.pavko.wizzardpotter, the "App") collects, how it is used and what choices you have. The App is developed and operated by PAVKO ("we", "us"). Contact: pavkoapp@gmail.com.

The App is an unofficial fan-made quiz. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by the owners of the Harry Potter brand.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.

a) Data stored only on your device

Your game progress, coins, collection items, settings (sound, music, vibration, language), nickname, chosen portrait and house, question history, notification preferences and records of your purchases (including Google Play transaction IDs) are stored locally on your device. This data is not sent to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data.

b) Anonymous game account

When you play online features, the App signs you in with an anonymous account through Google Firebase Authentication. This creates a random user ID that is not linked to your name or email.

c) Leaderboard data

If you take part in leaderboards, the following is stored on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) under your anonymous user ID: your nickname, portrait, frame and title, house, whether you own the Full Edition, your scores, weekly house points and the time of the score.

Your nickname, portrait, house and scores are visible to other players on the leaderboards. Please do not use your real name or any personal information as your nickname.

d) Advertising data

The App shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information and information about ad interactions to show, measure and personalise ads and to prevent fraud.

e) Usage analytics

The App includes the Google Analytics for Firebase SDK. It may automatically collect usage data such as app opens, session length, device model, operating system version, app version, country and the advertising ID.

f) Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We receive only information that confirms the purchase (product and transaction ID), which is used to deliver what you bought.

g) Notifications

If you allow notifications, the App schedules reminders locally on your device (for example, that your daily chest is ready). The App may also subscribe your device to general Firebase Cloud Messaging topics (all players and your app language) to receive news. We do not store your push token on our side.

4. ADVERTISING AND CONSENT

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or another region where consent is required, the App shows a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform before personalised ads are used. You can change your choice at any time in the App under Settings > Privacy settings (the button appears when this option applies to your region).

You can also limit ad personalisation or reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on your device).

Rewarded ads are always optional.

5. NOTIFICATIONS

Notifications are optional. You can turn them off in the App settings or in your device settings. When you turn them off in the App, your device is unsubscribed from news topics.

6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Data stored on your device is kept until you uninstall the App or clear its data.

Leaderboard entries are kept as long as needed to run the leaderboards. Daily and weekly leaderboards are no longer shown after their period ends.

Data collected by Google services is kept according to Google's retention policies.

To request deletion of your leaderboard data, email us at pavkoapp@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data", your nickname and the approximate date you last played. We will delete the matching data within 30 days.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is intended for teenagers and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, contact us at pavkoapp@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not sell or share personal information for money. Where ad personalisation is considered "sharing" under applicable law, you can opt out using the privacy settings in the App or your device's ad settings.

9. SECURITY AND INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Data sent to Google services is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on Google's servers, which may be located outside your country, including in the United States. Google uses appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes may also be announced in the App.
