Hawkins Secrets Quiz: Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Hawkins Secrets Quiz app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by PAVKO (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a free service with optional in-app purchases and advertising. This service is intended for use “AS IS”.
Effective date: 2026-10-10
Information Collection and Use
The Application does not ask you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or precise location. The Application and the third-party services it uses may collect:
- Your device’s Internet Protocol address (IP address)
- Device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID / AdID and the Firebase installation ID) and basic device information (device model, OS version, language, app version)
- App interaction data (such as levels played, answers, rewards claimed, shop screens opened, ads watched and session time)
- Diagnostic information (such as crash logs and performance data)
- Leaderboard data, only if you take part in the World Record leaderboard: a randomly generated player ID, the nickname you choose, your avatar, your level, your score and the time of the score
- A push notification token, only if you allow notifications
This information is used to:
- Provide and operate the Application
- Run the World Record leaderboard
- Serve and measure ads (including frequency capping, fraud prevention, and reporting)
- Process in-app purchases
- Send reminders and news you agreed to receive
- Understand how the Application is used, improve stability and fix bugs
Leaderboard
Leaderboard entries are stored in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore. Your nickname, avatar, level and score are visible to other players. Please do not use your real name or other personal information as your nickname.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The Application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and process data to show ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Depending on your region and device settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where consent is required, the Application shows a consent form from Google’s User Messaging Platform before personalized ads are used, and you can change your choice later in the Application settings (Privacy button, in app versions where it is available).
You can also control ad personalization from your device settings (e.g., Ads/Privacy settings on Android).
Analytics and Crash Reporting
The Application uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand in aggregated form how the game is played, and Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostics. Firebase Remote Config is used to adjust game settings without an update.
Notifications
Notifications are optional. If you allow them, the Application schedules reminders locally on your device and subscribes your device to general Firebase Cloud Messaging topics (all players and your game language) to receive news. You can turn notifications off in the Application settings or in your device settings.
In-App Purchases
The Application offers in-app purchases processed by the app store platform (e.g., Google Play Billing). Payment processing is handled by the platform provider. The Service Provider does not receive or store your full payment card details. Purchase validation and transaction metadata (such as purchase status and product identifier) may be processed to deliver purchased content and prevent fraud.
Location Information
The Application does not collect precise (GPS) location data. However, approximate location may be inferred by third-party services (such as ad networks and analytics) from information like IP address to provide regional compliance, language, and ad delivery.
Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
- Google AdMob and the Google User Messaging Platform (ads and consent): policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Cloud Firestore, Remote Config): firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google Play services and Google Play Billing (in-app purchases): policies.google.com/privacy
- Unity (game engine): unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
Third Party Access / Disclosure
The Service Provider does not sell your personal information. The Service Provider may share information:
- With service providers that help operate the Application (ads, analytics, crash reporting, payments), under agreements that limit how data is used
- As required by law, legal process, or government request
- To protect rights, safety, investigate fraud, or respond to security issues
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application using standard uninstall processes available on your device or via the app marketplace.
For ad personalization controls, you can use your device’s privacy/ads settings and the in-app Privacy button (where available). Notifications can be turned off in the Application settings.
Data Retention and Deletion
Game progress and settings are stored on your device until you uninstall the Application or clear its data. Leaderboard entries are kept as long as needed to run the leaderboard. Data collected by Google services is kept according to Google’s retention policies.
To request deletion of your leaderboard data, email pavkoapp@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my data” and your nickname. The data will be deleted within 30 days.
Children
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If the Service Provider becomes aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will take steps to delete such information. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact: pavkoapp@gmail.com.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, contact pavkoapp@gmail.com.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information processed and maintained. Data sent to Google services is transmitted over encrypted connections and may be stored outside your country.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy and effective date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
Your Consent
By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
